The Secondary Curriculum
We offer a broad, balanced curriculum throughout Key Stages 3 & 4, and provide as great a degree of choice as possible. Our intention is to fulfil all the requirements of the National Curriculum and beyond, and to cater for the needs of students of all abilities.
In Years 7 and 8, students follow a broad, common curriculum. In Years 9, 10 and 11 students follow the core curriculum and then choose additional subjects retaining a broad balance in their curriculum, whilst allowing specialisation to occur when appropriate. The vast majority of students are entered for ten GCSE examinations including Religious Studies.
