Thanks to our friends at Heathrow Airport and Learning to Work, our Year 8 students recently took part in an exciting two hour STEM event, where innovation and teamwork were at the heart of the challenge. Students worked collaboratively to design and build a robotic car, which they then manoeuvred across a detailed template of Heathrow Airport
The activity tested their creativity and problem-solving skills, while highlighting the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in real-world applications.
From brainstorming designs to overcoming technical hurdles, students demonstrated resilience and ingenuity throughout.
