Headteacher’s Welcome
Welcome to Churchmead School Website. I hope you find it useful, informative and it gives you a sense of our school's dynamics, values and achievements.
Your choice of school is one of the most important decisions you will make, and nothing is more important to us than the welfare, happiness and progress of your child.
We are a school where each student encounters stimulating and intellectual challenges, whilst receiving the very best care and guidance.

This really is the start of Christmas; a fantastic night, with so many of our pupils involved. Tickets can be purchased on the door on the night by CASH ONLY - Adults £6.00, Children £4.00. Please note, no physical tickets will be given out, it will be by names on a list on the selected evening.
- Friday 12th December is our Christmas Jumper Day - students are asked to make a donation of £2 (which can be paid via ParentPay from Tuesday 9th December, or cash on the day) to raise money for Save the Children. Please note, the Christmas jumper is to replace the school jumper and blazer, all other items of school uniform are to be worn as normal.
In addition, on Friday 12th December, the Eco Club and EBE Club (Baking) will be hosting a bake sale at lunchtime. Baked goods will be sold for 50p, £1 and £1.50 (CASH ONLY) – all profits will be shared between the two clubs and Save the Children.
- Tuesday 16th December is our annual Christmas Service at Datchet St Mary's Church, Datchet. We will be holding the usual two services at 10:00 and 11:20 for students only (Year groups 7-10). In addition, we will be holding a Christmas Service on the same evening at 7pm at Datchet St Mary's Church, Datchet – this is for parents/carers, families, students, staff and the local community. We particularly encourage the students from Year groups 11, 12 and 13 to attend the evening service.
- Wednesday 17th December is the school Christmas Lunch. A full Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings, served by all Churchmead staff. Please ensure your child's ParentPay account is topped up in advance with £3.95 if they are having a Christmas Lunch. There will be no other option on that day so if your child is not partaking in the Christmas Lunch, please can you ensure that they bring a packed lunch with them. Students can wear their Christmas jumpers again on this day with no charge (again, to replace the school jumper and blazer, all other items of school uniform are to be worn as normal).
