Students from the Churchmead Eco Club attended a Climate Action Day hosted by the RBWM Youth Council. Students were given a chance to debate, discuss and give their opinions on Climate Policy and Programs being delivered by the local council. Students also were given a chance to create a piece a climate protest art. Their creation a canvas focused on protecting the bees was recognised and awarded best in show by Councillor Davies, Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Biodiversity and received a planter of succulent plants made from recycled materials. Overall, it was a great experience for the students to share with other schools and plan for the next year of Eco Activities
